When connecting (“provisioning”) your TK-02 and your Terra Kaffe app, you’ll first want to ensure the following:

* Confirm the machine is turned on
* Confirm that Wi-Fi is enabled on the machine (Menu > Settings > WiFi toggle)
* Confirm that your phone has Bluetooth capacity, that you have granted Bluetooth permission to the mobile app, and that Bluetooth is turned on
* Confirm you are within Bluetooth range of the machine
* Confirm that the desired Wi-Fi network is on and connected to the internet
* Confirm that the machine is within range of the Wi-Fi router
* Ask all family members to make sure the mobile app is closed on their phones
* Do not use the machine to brew coffee, or use other machine functions, while completing the connection process.

There are two main things that can cause a hiccup in connection:

     1. The TK-02 can’t find a network to connect to (no networks appear in the app)
     2. The TK-02 can find a network (networks do appear in the app) but cannot connect

If you’re dealing with the first problem, please force close your app - make sure it’s quit entirely, not just running in the background. Next, open the app, go to MENU, then MACHINE SETTINGS, then tap the CONNECTION bubble, where it says “Network,” and a list of networks should come up.

If that doesn’t do the trick, open your app. Go to MENU, then ACCOUNT, then MACHINES ON ACCOUNT, then INFO, and, on the bottom of the page, click “Remove Machine from Account.” Next, completely close the app. Reopen the app. On your machine, go to MENU, then SETTINGS, and ensure the WiFi toggle radio button is ON. On the machine itself, flip the hard power switch in the back to turn the TK-02 off. Wait five minutes, then turn the TK-02 back on, and let it boot up. Verify that the WiFi radio button is still ON. Ensure there are no alerts present on the machine (eg, no “drip tray missing,” no “waste bin full,” etc.). On the machine, tap MENU, then SETTINGS, then MACHINE INFORMATION, then CONNECT TO APP. Next, reopen your app, and tap “Add Machine” on the upper right corner. Try to connect again.

If all else fails, please delete your Terra Kaffe app, re-download the app, and try once more.
