How do I adjust my grinder dial?
April 11 2023 9:15pmThe grinder dial is located in the bean hopper, and it adjusts how finely or coarsely the whole beans will be ground. The lower the number, the finer the grind. 1 is the finest grind size, and 5 is the coarsest.
The finer the grind, the more surface area the coffee will have to extract from, leading to a stronger brew. We recommend only adjusting the grinder dial when the grinder is in use, or the stress from turning the dial may dull the blades, decreasing their lifespan.
The dial is also removable for cleaning. If you find your grinder dial may not be properly aligned, please turn the dial as far clockwise as it will go. Then, pop the dial off and reinsert it so that the 5 is aligned with the plastic indicator in the hopper. Once the dial is properly positioned, you can adjust it to your desired grind size.
